Title Some Viscous and Other Real Fluid Effects in Fully Developed Cavity Flows

Creator Brennen, C.

Subject Caltech Library Services

Description Some significant differences between fully developed cavity flows and their corresponding potential flow models are described and an attempt is made to interpret the results in terms of the real fluid properties. The phenomenon of cavity separation from a smooth surface and the nature and appearance of the cavity interface are given particular attention.
